Lumnary Tech Solutions is looking for an experienced AWS Data Platform Support Engineer to support and optimise AWS-based data ingestion pipelines integrated with Snowflake.
Experience: 6–10 Years
Reporting To: Data Platform Lead
Key Responsibilities:
– Build, monitor, troubleshoot and optimise AWS Glue ETL jobs and Spark/PySpark pipelines.
– Manage AWS Lambda functions and Step Functions orchestration.
– Support metadata-driven ingestion, incremental loads and CDC pipelines.
– Maintain S3, IAM, CloudWatch monitoring, alerts and security configurations.
– Troubleshoot Snowflake data loading, Snowpipe and external stages.
– Implement CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and cloud cost optimisation.
– Handle production incidents, SLA-driven tickets, root cause analysis (RCA) and data quality checks.
Required Skills:
– Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, Spark/PySpark, Lambda, Step Functions, S3 and IAM.
– Strong Python (boto3) and SQL skills.
– Working knowledge of Snowflake and production support processes.
– Familiarity with Terraform/CloudFormation, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred: AWS EMR, Athena, Airflow, Lake Formation and relevant AWS or Snowflake certifications.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
