Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced PeopleSoft HCM Functional Consultant with 8+ years of experience in PeopleSoft HCM implementation, enhancement, support, and upgrade projects.
The candidate should have strong functional expertise in Core HR and Absence Management and be comfortable working with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from HR and business stakeholders.
- Provide functional solutions and recommendations for PeopleSoft HCM business processes.
- Configure and support PeopleSoft Core HR and Absence Management modules.
- Work on implementation, enhancement, production support, upgrade, and maintenance projects.
- Prepare BRDs, Functional Design Documents (FDDs), test scenarios, and test cases.
- Perform impact analysis for change requests and identify downstream process impacts.
- Coordinate with technical teams for PeopleCode, integrations, interfaces, reports, and customizations.
- Support PUM/Image upgrades, data migration, testing, and UAT activities.
- Troubleshoot functional issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate defect resolution.
- Conduct functional walkthroughs, user demonstrations, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
- Recommend process improvements and PeopleSoft best practices.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of PeopleSoft HCM Functional experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in PeopleSoft Core HR
- Strong experience in PeopleSoft Absence Management.
- Experience in implementation, enhancement, support, and upgrade projects.
- Strong understanding of HR business processes and workflows.
- Experience with BRD, FDD, UAT, testing, and functional documentation.
- Good understanding of PeopleSoft integrations and interfaces.
- Exposure to PUM/Image upgrades, Fluid UI, PS Query, and BI Publisher is preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Good to Have
Experience with additional PeopleSoft HCM modules such as Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, TAM, ePerformance, Compensation, or Global Payroll.
Ideal Candidate: A strong PeopleSoft HCM Functional Consultant/Lead with Core HR and Absence Management expertise who can independently handle requirements, functional design, configuration, testing, UAT, and stakeholder coordination.
